fantasy of flight and altamonte mall

going for 16 nights December 2014 and looking at doing something different. Has anyone been to either of the above? Are they worth the trip?

If you like airplanes then FoF is a great place to visit, some really interesting aircraft on display.

Altamonte Mall is very similar to the Florida Mall, when we last visited a few years ago we thought it was marginally cheaper than FM and very much quieter.

Haven't been to FoF but went to Altamonte Mall last July and there was loads of bargains to be found, a big difference in price between Altamonte stores and Florida Mall prices, especially on things like Hollister and A&F

I didn't think there was any difference between altamonte and Florida price wise. We went to altamonte as we are used to getting sales for July 4th and heard Florida Hollister Abercrombie didn't reduce stock. Then we went to Florida couple days later as there was no Sephora and hollister and abercrombie had sales .Mall was quieter though but then again we were there for opening. Queue for Hollister must have been about 1hr in Florida mall . Was a bit miffed at A&F thy opened till through back for some people and as we approached they wouldn't let us join it so I dumped whole pile with him and walked out . They obviously knew them . Swear I won't go back not enough tills and rude staff.

Altamonte Mall is good for A&F And Hollister. More sale rails and more choice than elsewhere.

We love a trip to the Altamonte Mall. Same shops as the Florida Mall, same kind of food court but cheaper prices especially for Hollister and A&F, far less busy and generally a much nicer shopping experience.

In case anyone is wondering where this mall is, it is just east of junction 92 of the I-4

We had our first visit to Altamonte Mall in May and liked it as it was not quite so full of tourists. Beforehand we had a very nice meal at Bahama Breeze

We loved fantasy of flight - one of the most enjoyable (and quiet) things we have done in Florida. Make sure you have lunch there in the art deco restaurant.

loved fantasy of flight was there early july ,the restaurant is great art deco as are the hangers built by kermit weeks the owner ,every plane in the collection can fly and they have a demo of one each day at 1 :30.

its only open thurs to sun now though. exit 44 off I4 turn right at exit then left at traffic lights f o f about 4oo yrds on right have a great day
