Thrifty Large SUV - Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hi

Just booked flights and car hire through Dial a flight. I asked for a full size SUV as we had a Chevy Tahoe this year, the pick up is from Orlando airport.

Through Thrifty its coming up as a Jeep Grand Cherokee, however, through Alamo etc this is classed as a standard SUV

Can anyone advise what they have had from Thrifty at Orlando airport in the large SUV range

thanks in advance

Full Size SUV is an FFAR

Standard SUV is an SFAR

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a good size car but is most definitely NOT a Full Size SUV FFAR like the Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon/Ford Expedition/Nissan Armada

Car hire companies really turn me off when they try conning unwitting customers with the wrong class car

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is SFAR

Noticed on dial a flights carhire page they only offer 1 Suv which is standard size.
Thrifty list the Jeep/ or similar as a Standard SUV.
Back to dial a flight to either cancel or get what you asked for.

i agree, we booked one the other year that stated full size suv, when we got there we where offered a ford escape! The guy said it was the equivelant to a full size uk suv!

Whenever i booked since then ive printed out screenshots etc showing it clearly says tahoe or equivelant and had no trouble.

For an extra 100 quid, I'd definitely have the Tahoe - there is no comparison between the two cars other than 4 wheels, 5 doors, 2 windscreens, ... - you get the drift
