Tokyo Dining
Hi everyone!
I wondered if anyone had recently eaten at Tokyo Dining (since the August menu change), and what they thought? Also, I'm confused as to what would be included on the regular Dining Plan, can anyone shed any light? Thank you Jo xx |

We ate there in August and quite liked it.
I think it's all included on DDP. If you're choosing sushi then you pick 2 types for 1 credit. OH and I shared 2 sushi dishes and the lobster tempura. Not bad for a credit each

Thank you! So by sushi do you mean the $12-$16 dishes rather than the single pieces that are about $4 each?
Your choice sounds lovely |

Yes, it's the $12-$16 plates!
It worked out quite well DS is 12 so eats from the normal menu but if it's of interest I was told by our little companions (8 &3) that the kids bento box type things served in a bullet train, were very nice. I think one of the best kids options our friends could find for them really. Edited at 02:58 AM. |

We didn't have sushi. We had tempura but it didn't come with anything, it sounds harsh but I was bored eating it!
I was not impressed at all, I loved it the twice before we had been there.

I don't think that's harsh.
If I'd just had that I would have agreed with you. OH and I always split though so we get to mix it up plus we ordered edamame too. I found a few pics for the OP. DS liked his which was a bit more varied than straight tempura. Edited at 09:19 AM. |

The bullet train serving platter is adorable You can buy them downstairs in Mitsukoshi, too
Jo, am I right that you are Isabella's mum (forgive me if I've got you mixed up with someone else!) as I've read a lot of your hubby's trippies, she's so cute I expect she'd love the bullet train

No worries. They took ages because I'm on the train so apologies if you only saw beans!
