How much is too much? September 2016

Hello one and all,

I thought it high time that I got round to posting all my photos of the food we enjoyed in September 2016. We ate at mostly Disney restaurants with a couple of ventures out to off site restaurants (Bubba Gump, Bahama Breeze & Mall at Millennia)

Without further ado I start with our breakfast at The Spinning Jenny at Manchester Airport

Eggs Benedict

Full English (I swapped the mushrooms for sausages)

After we landed and had checked into the Boardwalk resort there is only 1 place to eat our first burger... Crews Cup. Easily the best burger in Walt Disney World

The next morning we went for some (not so healthy) breakfast at Roaring Forks at the Wilderness Lodge

Cheese Danish

Chocolate Muffin

For lunch it was my favourite quick service meal, one I look forward to every year... Honey Chicken. Oh how I love Honey Chicken, this is from the food court at Mall at Millennia

Some horrible mushroom slop... who cares

Chicken Burrito

Later we went shopping to Wal-Mart and saw some treats my mum would have loved

When we got back to the room the resort had left us these in the room

That night we went to Chef Art Smith's Homecoming at Disney Springs. Oh boy was this a great meal, and we started with a Moonshine cocktail (of course )

Jasper Board

Hushpuppies

Signature fried chicken with mash potato and biscuit

And finally we finished off the night with a night cap at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar

Another day... we went to Epcot in the morning and had lunch at Sunshine Seasons.

Turkey and Monterey Jack on Ciabatta

Mongolian Beef

Crème brûlée

For dinner we had the Fantasmic! dinner package booked at Hollywood and Vine. This restaurant used to (and still does to some extent) have a bad reputation, but they have really stepped up their game. It was one of the best buffets we have had, Boma just pipped it to the post.

Our plates, never pretty from a buffet!

That evening we got the boat back to the resort and had a drink at AbracadaBAR

Tom Collins
