Disney Hotel Reservation - what are my options now my flights have been cancelled?

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me and suspect this has been asked many times before but it's hard to track down the info I need.

Yesterday my Virgin Flights were cancelled as one of the indirect flights were removed from the trip so we are now forced to move everything to 2021. This is a good position to be in as it removes uncertainty for this year and we can start planning for next year and not tied to one airline. However, we have lot of different accommodation booked for this year that I now need to either move or cancel as we book everything seperately.

The main thing I want to look at is my Disney Coronado Springs booking. We have 5 nights booked on QSDP and I was looking for some advice as follows:

I realise I can cancel and lose my deposit but are there any options to move it to 2021 even though I don't know my dates as yet?

Also, what is the best way to contact Disney to talk to them during this difficult time i.e. email, phone, SMS etc..

Thanks for your help.

We are in the same boat - Delta cancelled flights - Disney still say all the original conditions apply for out Aug trip so either lose deposit or pay £50 to change the dates plus the price will go up.
Not wanting to rebook for next year as at this point would lose free dining and $200.

So can only wait for Disney to change the cancellation dates.

We’re in same position, our BA flights are cancelled for July but we have Coronado Springs and upgraded to Disney Dining. We will lose deposit if we cancel now. Friends were due to arrive a few days before us (end June) and they’ve got their deposit back so we’re waiting to see if Disney extend refund date. Also have paid RPR at Universal in full (& tickets) through Florida Escapes and think we only get option to move to 2021 but not sure if we’ll be able to travel next year.

Thanks for the info - I need to give them a call. When were you originally due to stay with them?

There is a thread that covers this.

Disney are now giving 3 options.
1 Cancel reservation with full refund of deposit. These include July and August dates as well.
2 Move to next year for free. If you have free dining you will lose this but if it becomes available you can pay £50 amendment fee to add it.
3 Final balance can now be paid 35 days out from booking rather than the 56 ish days.

Thread is here

Hope this helps people.

You're welcome. Without the Dibbers I think I would've lost a lot of money in this crisis. Thanks to all.
