Has anyone moved OKW or SSR bookings to 2021

Has anyone managed to move this years booking to next year that was staying at OKW or SSR.

These resorts can usually only be booked 330 days in advance.

I will be looking to move it to September/October 2021 and therefore a long way outside the 330 day window.

I know I would lose the free dining I have but just looking for any info regarding moving these resort bookings before I try and contact them.

Always better to have some actual experiences before contacting them.

I have booked direct with Disney.

Hi, we were due to stay at SSR in July. We have moved our dates to July 21 and have booked a hotel for now. The lady I spoke was brilliant and added a note to the booking stating we will be contacting them regarding changing nearer the time.

I will be interested to see how much cash availability there is- as you may know DVC points are all backing up and rooms will be hard to come by. Cash inventory at these resorts is DVC points the developer retains, plus trade outs from DVC members into cruises, RCI etc.
There is speculation that for good PR, Disney will turn over some or all of its points to member inventory to ensure they have enough to book and use their points. However, there are questions over the legality of that.
Not saying it will happen, but do not be surprised to see reduced cash availability at these resorts being a possibility.

We have been talking about this issue. Will be very interesting to see. May have to resort to 2 rooms if needs be.
