I got stopped at Fast Track Manchester because there was, I quote, 'something suspicious containing liquid' in my handbag - 2 Gaviscon Sachet's !
DH got hauled over in Montreal airport & questioned extensively because 'we believe you have drugs strapped to you calf' My DH does a lot of running and has calf's like God knows what - to which he threw his leg up on the table (no effort at all) pulled up his jeans leg and just looked at the security lady, smiled & said 'I run' - luckily she smiled back.

I know - it's sad, isn't it.

But, as I said, people admitting to reading it is another level completely.

I recommend everyone goes there at least once. They performed a miracle for me, a strapless bra that worked.

Generally I'm a Bravissimo girl tho and no embarrassing alarm incidents yet, what the betting I've jinxed myself for next week!

When I get dressed on the morning of travel I put my wallet, phone, belt and coins etc into my carry on rucksack... saves getting half undressed to go through.

It's the least secure part of the hoilday for me. We try and send one person through to collect stuff, but you have all your money in those trays and it's all vulnerable. We try and split it up to reduce risk, but it's still a very uncomfortable experience.

also the people that try and get dressed at the belts annoy me, grab your tray and move away before getting dressed.

We put everything bar the IPads in my handbag before we go through so that’s 2 x iPhones , 2x watches , my bracelet , DH wallet and we usually put a jacket over the ipads , sometimes we get asked to put the iPads separately but we usually manage to do two of us with three trays shoes , jackets and my handbag and carry ons.

I was told it was M & S too, although in Doncaster Airport I was ok.
