Got DH some nice new shorts and a t.shirt plus a game of thrones hot drink cup/flask from Primark that he spied a few months ago.
DFIL we have got him a gift voucher for a local Indian restaurant he said he fancied trying.
Sadly, my dad is no longer with us so I’m going to pay a visit to his memorial bench and have a catch up.

We don't do a lot for Father's Day. My dad's birthday is quite soon after.

This year he has some smart new shorts as he's put on a little weight while enjoying his retirement 😉

DD bought DH a gift at the school Father’s Day gift shop. We do token gifts in our house. We are a “buy it when you want/need” it family and don’t do gifts for gifts purpose.
All your ideas sound lovely though and if my Dad wasn’t on holiday I’d be buying him whiskey.

My dad is getting a box of chocolates and a gift card to the local shopping centre. He is so difficult to buy for.
My dh is getting a camera lens (he bought it and has given it to me to wrap) and I have him a gift bag of lucky charms, Gatorade, and mike and ike from the American section in Tesco.

My dad has just about every gadget under the sun so we will get him a couple of audible books as he is blind and spends a lot of his time listening to his books. We got him an Alexa last year as we thought it might be useful for him. I think he might use it as a timer ...
We will get my fil a couple of tops. He is in a care home with dementia so really clothes are about the only thing we can get him now. We will probably take in some cakes for all the folk in his unit.

Bit rude! I think that most of our dads enjoy the company of family - and it seems that most people on here all spend time with them as well as providing 'tacky' gifts that they will appreciate too - my dad certainly enjoyed his book and chocolates - as well as our company for 5 days away.
