Sunday 1st September
Going home day
After a long day and late night we had a bit of a lie in before enjoying the last of the sun by the pool.

DD had a bit of Milkybar followed by peanut butter toast, I had toast and orange juice and DH had a coffee and the flying saucer he'd bought in Publix.
DD asked for the Milkybar earlier in the week. Typical we have loads of Milkybar buttons etc in the fridge at home but hadn't brought much with us. This was over $3 in Publix but she doesn't like sweets or American chocolate.

DD had a banana mid morning and I had a cake before emptying the fridge of anything that was open. We left some water etc in case the cleaners wanted any of it.

This time I picked the white cake as I didn't fancy having a blue or red mouth for the rest of the day!

Once the bags were dropped off we had Wendy's for lunch at Tampa airport.

DH had a Dave's double combo meal with Dr Pepper whilst DD and I each had a Dave's single sandwich and shared a large fries.

We flew Delta to JFK. We all had Biscoff cookies, I had Apple juice and DH had a coffee.

Once at JFK really weren't too hungry but wanted to try and eat again before the flight. I can never understand how people get on the plane at 9pm and eat tea at about 10.30pm or 3.30am uk time. We ended up at McDonalds where there was a really long queue. DH didn't order as they didn't do the Chicken sandwich he'd wanted. DD and I shared a large fries and 10 nuggets meal with Dasani. We went to get sauces and I managed to fill DD's water bottle with water at the drinks machine.

DH went for a wander to see if he could find anything else. He ended up with a Dunkin donut and Cranberry juice to drink. He said the donut was horrible as turned out it was strawberry and he hadn't realised.

No time to get anything else as the plane was now boarding.

DD and I slept a bit on the plane and none of us ate dinner. DH had 2 small cans of Stella and I got some small packets of Pretzels for DD to have later.

Breakfast was melon and some kind of yoghurt. Sorry I don't have a picture! DH ate the melon but DD and I didn't bother taking breakfast. I think I probably had a Frosties bar and crisps and DD had a packet of French Fries.

I always get Vanilla cake. A lot of people moan that American cakes have too much buttercream but we like it. I usually just pick up one of the mini vanilla cakes or some cupcakes but I have ordered a larger cake before too.
