21 day Disney tickets

Hi
We currently have a booking with Disney that includes 21 day park tickets. Currently booked to go in July 2021. 14 days at CRB then 4 nights at a Disney Springs hotel. Anyone know if I rebooked for next year, if I would be able to keep the 21 day tickets. Gut feeling says no as I have seen people lose the gift voucher options when rebooking for next year.
Anyone already tried this ?

Thanks

Hi

I booked originally for Aug 2020 and had a 21 day ticket, we moved the holiday to Aug 2021 and kept the 21 day ticket however started to think about moving the trip back again to 2022 so called Disney to ask if we would be able to keep the ticket but was told that they are not carrying these tickets over to 2022 and it would have to be changed to a 14 day ticket

Hi, do you mind me asking who you booked with to keep the 21 day ticket. We also had an August 2020 booking but when I moved it to this august they wouldn’t allow me to keep the 21 day ticket so now had to pay £1750 extra for another 14 day ticket.

I would talk to Disney because I don’t think the 21 days are valid at the moment. We are desperate for them to come back

We’re really hoping they come back too, don’t fancy having to pay for another 7 day ticket on top of the price of 14 day tickets!

Hi,
I do hope the 21-day ticket will be back. If not, I think we will just try Universal for the extra money. I have heard that they are doing extremely well in spite of Covid.
We already have decided not to go in December as we had originally planned.
I can't imagine having, no dining plan, no fastpass+, and no 21 day ticket for a December trip. It's just too much! Hoping some of these are back in August 2022. But I am not booking until at least one of these is back.
I must say, that on the other hand we are ok having to wear a mask or having to be vaccinated.

I doubt they will come back. Disney isn't selling them for 2022 at this time. We will have to wait and see but I think they are gone for good.

There was no COVID-related reason for removing them in the first place so I don't see why they would bring them back once all the restrictions are removed. Other changes were due to the social distancing restrictions and the knock-on effects whereas this change wasn't.

Having said that, I don't know what reason they had for removing them. It's seems a strange decision. They could have made a little extra money from UK guests if they had kept them.

I read a possible reason is because the park reservation system currently only allows you to book 14 days at one time. Don’t know if that’s true, but if so I’m assuming that’s something they can change if they wanted to. It just depends if they want to!

Yeah, that was the only reason I could think of. That Disney's IT systems only work up to 14 days. The US tickets only cover a 14 day period (or less) as well.

Still, it doesn't seem like much effort to alter the maximum period to go upto 21 days in their software.
