I wish our garden was flat like yours Louise! We’re on a slope so can’t use the lawn for a table etc! We were going to get the patio redone but we’ve decided just to clean it and perhaps redo it next year. We’ve tidied up, stained the fence, the pots are ready for plants and the patio pots are full of daffs and tulips just ready to open. All the trees, shrubs etc have buds starting to show. No pic of the patio till it’s cleaned!

I rarely wear trousers, much more a dress person. However at home I’m in my pjs and dressing gown far more hours each day than I’m in everyday clothes 😂

Thankyou, it's surprising how a good tidy round, cutting back and a bit of new gravel has already helped perk it up. Hoping to get the patio (and front drive) cleaned next weekend and I've started my list for plants etc once it's 'pot filling' time

Spent a lovely afternoon with DH and our dog walking in a forest park around 10 miles from home. Beautiful weather and not many people there, just bird song and nature all around. Walked over 10000 steps too which I’ve not done for quite a while.

That’s beautiful. We have been really loving the birdsong too, we have seen so many more birds than before this year. Lovely photos thanks for sharing 😊

We are very lucky to be woken by birdsong every morning. We get loads visiting our garden and have enjoyed feeding them and watching birds for years. It really is relaxing. I think you are right that there seems to be more than ever this year 😀

It looks beautiful 💞 What area of the UK is this? Isn’t it wonderful how nature can make us feel so much better?

We’ve always lived in a countryside area but I think we appreciate it far more over the past year.

It is near Kentmere in the lakes. Im lucky enough to live not far from here and it is one of my favourite spots to the solitude and simply being in raw nature (it isnt a particularly common area to go "on this side" so is usually quiet). The clouds look a lot darker than they were, it was very bright.
