Need to book Disney days next weekend, where to buy tickets?

Looking for the most flexible option ( if there is one).
Travelling with my elderly parents and daughter, and if we don’t get there at Christmas it’s unlikely my parents will re book.
My daughter and I would hopefully, so a long expiry would help.
Any deposit only options?

We haven’t got ours yet for October for this reason. Beginning to panic a bit now!

We’re only worrying as we plan/ hope to be in a park on Christmas Day.
I feel we need to reserve as soon as it’s available.
I’ve seen COVID cover available on tickets, so that may be our best option.

Reservations open 120 days before, so that’s the 27th August.

You need to have bought your tickets by then to be 100% certain of a spot.

It’s a tough call though isn’t it!

Yes, that’s what we figured. Hence this post!
It’s so hard.
At least our WDW tickets were part of our package which all got cancelled this summer ( we should be there now, instead we are in rainy Devon).
