We were originally due to fly on 14th, would have been in Hard Rock for my daughters birthday on 15th …. Instead we were in Hard Rock in Newcastle. Not quite the same, not quite the same “rock” experience but the food was actually better.

We should have landed today and rushed to get to Teppan Edu, instead I have had fish and chips on the beach with a bottle of lager in Bournemouth

We should have been getting ready to fly home today after goodness knows how many cancelled trips - I think this should have been the 4th Oh well 'onwards and upwards as they say'... hmmm I used to say that too but that was before I spent my life planning trips that didn't happen lol

Given all the doom and gloom coming from the USA (or maybe it’s just me feeling gloomy), maybe this thread should be re-named, ‘August 2022 - will we get there?’

Just think, instead of being utterly demoralised about a hop across the Pond back to "sunny" Blighty, you still have it all to look forward to Every cloud an' all that

We should have been checking out of Key West and in to our Key Largo hotel today for a couple of nights before a drive back up to I-Drive... all to come next year.
