I must admit, I thought it covered people whose flight had been cancelled due to the border being closed (or other Covid-related reasons). But it doesn't seem to say that now. Maybe they changed the wording?

Although I've just checked an archived version of their Covid cover page from March and that says the same thing. So maybe not.

Something I clicked on the other day definitely said it. Wish I’d taken a screen shot now! It was for 2022 though. Maybe just for packages?

Yes just checked, it mentions flight cancellation when you go into the Disney offer for 2022.

Ah yes. Thanks for that. For hotel + ticket packages then I'd expect a different set of Ts&Cs. Ticket only sales tend not to be as well protected.

TBH, I suspect AT might process a refund if a flight was cancelled because the border was closed but then the border subsequently and suddenly opens (although don't quote me on that!). Purely as a goodwill gesture.

They probably would, only because they would have already processed the refund!

They won't do anything yet. I rang them last week after my flight was cancelled (due to border closure...) for the 9th and she basically told me there's nothing she can do yet and as my flight had only just been cancelled it could still be reinstated (I highly doubt that!)... They're really scraping the barrel now with reasons to keep peoples money! She offered for me to cancel there and then and they'd keep 20% - I very quickly declined!

I was also told to phone back around 6th September to ask for full refund of our Halloween tickets as they were only upto 6th September (waiting for confirmation that the borders were staying closed).

However I've just received an email from them saying that for Halloween and Boo Bash tickets upto 30th Sept, they are now automatically issuing a full refund. It will be back on our card in 7 -10 days.

👍👍
