Disney outlets price increase
Just been watching some Disney outlet vlogs, found it very strange when the vlogger said no wait to go in the store on vineland I watched this guy for 45 mins go round all the items in the store and wow the prices have shot up, I couldn't believe how much the merch had gone up and it was right across the store, no wonder there was no queue. 😪

The stores have also been imposing more restrictions on the scalpers/resellers, two of any item maximum. A long overdue change.

I like watching Tip of the Ears, he’s been talking about price increases for a while now and how it’s impacted the numbers heading to the stores. Also a lack of new items for quite some time.

Similar prices when We went back in nov 19. You get the odd bargain in there as some stuff that’s still available in the parks but otherwise similar prices to target etc. The merch prices in the parks are ridiculous . Jen tracker wanted a t shirt the other day and it was $40 ! For a t shirt !

It has nothing to do with the freestanding Disney stores. It is all ex park (and cruise ship) merchandise.

Liz over at shopping with Character and Dad got parks have been saying this for a while now. They have apparently been told by cast members the price increases are to do with Disney’s lack of products at the moment caused by the Suez Canal incident and a lack of production during various COVID shutdowns.
The hope is once product levels return to normal so will outlet prices! Hopefully in time for my June trip!

It looks the same as it did a few years ago. I'm happy with that as the queues recently have been crazy with all the re sellers,I'll be happy to pay a bit more not to have to queue😁
