Great news.

Hopefully you don’t have to wait too long on Disney now.

Blummin heck Abby that was quick! When you make a decision you really go for it.

Congratulations, I’ve heard lovely things about Copper creek and I’m sure it’ll be the right choice for you. If we ever went DVC we’d probs go for SSR as DH is a big Disney springs fan and I’d need enough points for a two bed villa as I’m sure our girls would be wanting to bring partners or we would want to take friends and family over the next few years? (Plus it’s cheaper which helps with all that)

So how many nights will 150 points get you in August at CCV?

Just to add Dd friends own at SSR and I’m not sure they’ve ever stayed there. As I know they always try to stay at BCV.

Kat

Thank you all for the well wishes.

I swore blind when we bought our current house that we would not sell up and buy again as moving is very stressful. Well, that was exactly 10 years ago as we moved in here in August 2011. Now we are on the road to buying DVC and I know it's going to be a long process.

I hope this time next year we will be reminiscing about our first stay as DVC members but at the moment I'm just happy that there will be many, many trips to come. That is a nice feeling.

It probably feels like a quick decision but I've been on DVC Resale mailing lists for about 2 years! So, it's been something that has been at the back of my mind for a while.

Even though Copper Creek will be our home resort I hope we will be able to stay at many of the others especially SSR.

It's 121 points for a 1 week stay at Copper Creek next August in a studio so we will have points to spare for other resors, hopefully Boardwalk or Beach Club. Plus, I've already put a deposit on Coronado Springs for 10 nights checking in on 29th July. Oh and I have credit at Davids DVC for the cancelled trips. Next summer will be a bumper trip. I might need to think about the deposit for Coronado and amend that.

Excellent news and fingers crossed for ROFR for you. I own at SSR and I love it there, I like the chilled out feeling of the resort and love the walk to DS. I did do a walk round CC before I bought and thought it was lovely but in the end couldn't justify the extra cost and for me I'll be 84 when SSR expires, I'll be well chuffed if I'm still travelling to WDW by then . Hope your CC contract comes through.

Contract has come through this afternoon, plus the request for the deposit.

I can’t quite believe it has happened. I'm feeling quite nervous about it all...stating the blindingly obvious...but it's all very real now!
