Tampa Airport to Orlando (I-Drive)

Does anyone have any experience getting from TPA to Orlando?

Car hire is looking best for pick-up in Orlando so looking at options to get from TPA to Orlando.

Any suggestions? Thanks

If you are planning on getting a car anyway, I would definitely just pick it up in Tampa. Any savings would probably go on transfer costs. It is an 1 1/2 hour drive.

It's currently £600+ extra just for picking up at the moment (madness)

The local options at the Tampa end look to close around the time we land/pass immigration.
