Interesting item on this on radio 4 moneybox just now. They are advising not switching unless you can fix it.

Gvt in talks as its affecting food business big time too.

I heard that 2 and read similar in The Times yesterday - I am due to change next month for my main property but defiantly going to hold out . Also many small companies will fail (apparently) and ofcom will switch you so you could get a bum deal

I’m signed up to Merseyside collective switch which is endorsed by our councils newspapers etc.
If interested you can sign up here but you have to be in Merseyside area.

I think the latest sign up has closed and they normally do a few each year.
The idea is to try and get as many signed up and basically go heavy handed to the providers for a wholesale deal.
The more that join the better the deal.
I’m sure there’s plenty of other areas in the country that do this.
Hoping next one is comes before my November deal ends.
