Hard Rock or Royal Pacific (and showers!)

We are rebooking for November. Had Royal Pacific booked for a week before (for October) but Hard Rock is now showing as only £200 more for the whole week - I feel like this is a reasonable deal?

For a week, as two adults (late 20s) which would you go for?

Also, do any of the hard rock standard rooms have showers or are they all over the bath?

I always had it in my head that Hard Rock would be the better one to go to but now I have the option I’m questioning myself

I love the Hard Rock and I'd swap but I think standard rooms are over bath showers only unless you can request an accessible room.

We love both.

As a family we prefer the Hard Rock because when you are staying for a fair few nights, the bigger rooms make a real difference.

As just a couple, I'd probably choose the Royal Pacific, primarily because we love the Orchid Lounge for cocktails and sushi.

On the prices - they shift around all the time. I've seen the Hard Rock cheaper than the Royal Pacific on quite a few occasions.

We’ve booked, ended up with Hard Rock - not really sure why but it’s a decision

It's a lovely hotel - there's no "wrong decision" here!

Hmm, I don’t love Hard Rock.
The first time we stayed we loved it but the second time we found it a bit oppressive.
We were stuck in a hurricane to be fair.
We have only stayed at RPR once and really liked it. Also stuck in a hurricane that time! It seemed lighter and fresher somehow and a bit more cheery

We are a party of two adults. Hard Rock is the last of the three Universal express hotels for us to try so I was going to give it a go for our next trip. However I watched some vlogs and I think it looks too noisy for us.
