We like Raglan Road with the Irish music and dancing and food is good. Years ago we went to Medieval Times not sure if still going but was great fun, food wasn’t anything special but atmosphere was good

At the Gaylord Palms.
Sundowner Ceremony on the boat restaurant (in one of the atriums they have a boat in water with a restaurant on board). Unique. Stunning. Extravigant. |

We’ve done the Fireworks dessert parties at Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood studios.
MK has a seated or standing option, we like the standing option as you can position yourself for a front and centre view of the castle, as there are projections on the castle it’s best to have a front on view. Never did the seated one but I understand the view can be a bit obscured. The desserts themselves are pretty meh, and there is only so much sugar you can eat! No alcohol at the MK one. Epcot is the Frozen dessert party( or was) it is seated and you can have wine/ beer/ cocktails. Again, variety of cupcakes etc and you get escorted to Frozen after the fireworks for an exclusive ride! By far my favourite. I loved Illuminations, so this was perfect for me. HS was Star Wars themed, alcohol included and we got a free BB8 sipper cup. They escort you just before 5he fireworks to a raised area in front of Mann’s Chinese theatre. We felt the view wasn’t the best as you are too close to the fireworks and would have a better view further back. Overall, I would do the MK and Epcot dessert parties again but probably not the HS one, but I’m not a Star Wars fan otherwise I would! The desserts are alright but not amazing, and you can’t eat that much without feeling sick. I think the parties are worth it for the better view and lack of bodies pressing into your armpit! |

They've changed the MK dessert party since the Disney policy was relaxed to allow TS venues to serve alcohol in the MK. So dessert party now has beer and wine. Or did very briefly before it was suspended.
I've only done the MK one. Desserts were pretty average, nothing stood out as good. Mostly cheap tasting cupcakes tbh. I thought it was worth the money at the time for the reserved viewing spot, not sure I'd do it again if it comes back though. |
