Check out 'the points guy' review of the cabin.

He reckons that it's the 2nd best UC cabin behind the A350 due to its unique configuration.

Best seats are those closest to the window, for privacy reasons, know as the Solo Corner suites (3A, 5A, 3K, 5K).

If you're travelling as a couple who 'want' to be close to each other, then the central 'love suites' might be the best choice.

Never flown before but we have booked 5 E, F and K.

Choice of the love suite for DS and I, and DW will have some privacy in 5K with the baby.

That’s our choice and reason.

We’ve booked the middle two for DH and I and the window seats for my teen girls.

Should also add the suggestion is the A332 will be retired by early next year and will be replaced by A333, 787 and at some point the A350.

I am booked on the A332, but fully expecting this to change to the A333 but really hoping for the 350. I check the seat maps most days just in case…

We’ve booked the ‘love seats’ for my family. We have 11 and 8 year old boys and I’d rather them a bit closer.

Yes you should anticipate the A330-200 being fully retired by April - at least that's the plan. As mentioned, keep an eye on the seat maps for your booking as you'll probably be on a leisure A350 configuration. These new planes are joining the fleet from January 2022.

I have never experienced the Upper Class suite in the A330-200, but have just selected our seats - it looked to me (when I checked out YouTube videos) that 5K, although a lovely window seat, is fairly close to the toilets, which are right behind it. I've moved myself to 2C, which was the only other seat available that wasn't in the middle, but is far enough away from unwanted noise (loud flushing! - maybe?) or passengers queueing to use the toilet. Seat Guru also highlighted "the proximity to the galley and lavatory might be bothersome". If my flight goes ahead in November I will report back to you!
