Rooms with Murphy beds?

I’ve always hated the idea of Murphy beds in DVC rooms, and as a selfish single I’m still annoyed at the amount of storage space they take up, but .. I’m starting to see their benefits.
I’m travelling with a female friend to WDW for 2 weeks next year. Neither of us would be able to cope with a sofa bed for that period of time, so the Murphy bed idea sounds more appealing. Are they comfortable? Is there an easily searchable list of resorts that have them? And, thinking of speed in the morning, are there any 1 beds or studios that have 2 bathrooms? I think Poly studios might fit the bill here, and maybe AKV 1 bed, but without wading through every possible room option I can’t see and easy way to find that out.
In addition I have reduced mobility so ideally need a walk in shower. I’m not sure I’d manage to step over a bathtub to get a shower, and cannot use a bath. Room choice has gone from simple to difficult in the past year...

Never required a Murphy bed but we have stayed at resorts such as Poly, BCV, BWV and GFV where they're installed and agree with the reduced storage space.

As for which resorts have Murphy beds, they are listed as '1 single pull-down bed (29" x 67")' so when you next input your dates then select under Room Types, studio's and 1-beds and under Resorts click Select All Walt Disney World Resorts

Then when the results appear just scroll through those studio's which sleep 5 guest as those we believe will have the single pull-down beds.

As for 1-beds, those that sleep 5 guest either have a sleeper chair or a single pull-down bed.

So disregard any room that sleeps 4-guest.

Regarding bathrooms, if you click on the View Room Details which is right under the number of guest a room sleeps then that opens a new window with room information which for a Poly studio states 'Full bath separated into two areas—one with shower and sink, and the other with toilet, sink and tub/shower combination'.

As for walk in showers, under where you select room types there's a box to tick next to Show me Accessible Rooms only.

As an example under a Poly Deluxe Studio it states Wheelchair Accessible with Tub and Option for Hearing Accessibility - Sleeps Up to 5. And if you click on the View Room details it also states Wheelchair-accessible route in room, grab bars for toilet and bathtub

Bear in mind that the Murphy beds are slightly smaller than a standard UK single - 33x72"

May just be worth checking that your friend is ok with that.

My 20 year old 5 ft 4 but slim DD was very happy on one at the Poly. The other advantage at the Poly if there are two friends travelling, you get your own bathroom each!
