Cruising from Miami

I’m considering booking a cruise from Miami next November. I will be in Miami for thanksgiving, will I find restaurants open and things to do or would this time of year be best avoided? Any hints and tips for sailing from Miami and things to do for a few days and hotel recommendations would be great please.

oh thanksgiving I am sure restaurants will be opening because I was in New York for Thanksgiving and restaurant was opened.

Perhaps you goggle it and book it before you leave? near hotel/apartment?

My husband and I went to Miami and stayed at Townhouse near beach.

We find the restaurant quite expensive as charged you meals with two tips. We went with USA friend couple and they told me that they ordered one main course as they shared it because big plate.

We enjoyed Miami and I would love go back again before the cruise.
