Disabled parking badge

Apologies if this is the wrong place for this question, but I seem to remember in the past it has been possible to get a disabled parking badge for your trip to Orlando. Does anyone know if they are still doing this and if so how I would go about applying for one? Just to add this person does have a blue badge here in the UK.
TIA

Yes, still available if you email the Orange County tax office - sorry I don’t have the exact email address but I’m sure another Dibber will be along soon with more information.

Hi, all of the details can be found in the Useful information section at the top of the page. It's very easy to apply for a temporary red disabled badge.

You do not need to apply - as long as your badge has the international disabled symbol you are fine.

See this gov website - flhsmv.gov/motor-vehicle...rida-visitors/

The law was updated a year or two ago.

If you want to give them additional revenue, then see octaxcol/motor-vehic...king-placards/

The only time I might apply for one is if driving outside of Florida as the hanging placard is recognised in other states.

If this is the case then the sticky needs updating as it states a temporary permit is required as blue badges are no longer accepted.

So the badge we have has the symbol as a hologram, do you think that would count? We had the hanging badge last time and it was very helpful so we do want to make sure we have this covered.

That is fine. it is still the symbol.

Outside of Florida then different rules may apply.
