We have booked a marella cruise for august 2023. First week goes to Dominican Republic, Turks and Cacos, then Bahamas. Second week goes to South Carolina then two nights in New York. Also at some point it goes to Miami and the keys. We can’t wait! Did our first cruise this summer on a marella staycation and loved it!

Cruised out of New York to Bermuda in August a couple of years ago with Norwegian for 7 nights.
It was great sailing past Manhattan, Statue of Liberty etc. We had about 2/3 days in Bermuda before returning to NY. We had a couple of days at Niagara Falls before the cruise and a week in Cape Cod and Boston afterwards. Great trip |

Yes we’re on Oasis. Really looking forward to the sail away. Didn’t realise we will go under a bridge.

You mention the NCL Hawaii cruise in August and our friends did this as a 40th wedding anniversary cruise in August a few years ago and weather was good but they said they were lucky on one trip but repeated it again and caught by a hurricane. NCL is the only cruise line which embarks and disembarks in Hawaii.

Hi
I’m thinking of RC cruise in August 23 , I’m assuming you’ve done this before. Do you have a trip report or any tips or advise, I’m a first time cruiser. Thanks QUOTE=YorkshireT;15207382]There’s hundreds of cruises from Florida into the Caribbean and Bahamas in summer. It’s definitely not an off season. Hurricane season is in full swing then, but you’d be unlucky to meet one. September and October can be worse for hurricanes. The RCL ones to CocoCay are not to be missed, it is fantastic.[/QUOTE] |
