Patio & Steps
Let's just say I am annoyed with the guys who are doing my patio atm. Last week the labourer said that the steps need to be done a few days after the patio to allow the slabs to go off.
After lots of stop start days, they are here today. Inducation been given by the guy who owns the company; they can do it all at once. Does anyone have any experience as to whether this is correct. I feel conflicted as to whether I insist the steps are done later in the week. They did the other half of patio last year and talked through everything with me over that, this time it very much different.

Ours were not last time we had it done which was conversatory. There was a wait which I think was quite long.
Even a simple search is showing various answers none of which are immediately. Edited at 02:48 PM. |

I tried searching but the words steps and patio just came back with step by step guides lol so you did better than me. Thank you though I will stand my ground.
Plus its wrap around and the steps are full length french doors x 2 so big long steps.

I presume from what you are saying that the workmen need to work off the slabs to build the steps. If the slabs are dry bedded you can go on the straight away. Or build the steps first, then the patio

Steps first to set the levels. Then the patio slabs or stone etc butt up to the top step.
This was when my patio wasn’t finished regarding railings and lights etc but you can see how the slabs butt up to the bullnose steps already laid.
