Route stop off help!
The Dibb is always great at things like this so thought I'd reach out here for help!
I'm looking for a stop off point approximately halfway between Yateley and Northampton so we can go and meet my brother and his girlfriend- who are in the country for the first time in two years! We don't want to have to drive much longer than an hour (son is a pain in the car). I have a just turning 2 year old so we need somewhere child friendly to spend a few hours. Places that would work are somewhere with a cafe/pub (nothing fancy- toddler! ) and a nice country park with a playground, lake etc. Other things that would work are a little zoo or children's farm or similar attraction (not Whipsnade). Please Dibbers, any ideas? Route below to assist with geography! Doesn't need to be on the exact route though just somewhere in between the two points. |

There is a website that I've used a couple of times - whatshalfway.com
Can be quite useful for ideas. |

We use this site to find places to stop and avoiding services on a long journey. The suggestions are usually no more than 10 minutes away from the junction.
