London afternoon tea
Evening all, myself and two friends have booked a weekend in London in September for one friends 50th, we want to book her a surprise afternoon tea while we are there, I’ve looked at The Ritz and The Shard which both look lovely, anyone been to them or have any other suggestions of where or what we could do?😀

We went to the Ritz in September. It was a lovely experience and would recommend it. Fortnums also do afternoon tea but I’ve got no experience of that one. 😃

I've been to one of the restaurants at The Shard, F&M and The Langham. They were all lovely in terms of food, setting and service.
I'd like to go to Tiffany's Blue Box Cafe in Harrods next. Corinthia is another one I'd check out. There are so many good ones around the same price point Edited at 07:53 PM. |

My Mum and I went to Claridges. It was a lovely special treat for her 70th birthday.

I think there are lots of fab teas in hotels in London. I have been to The Ritz 3 times over the years, last in 2021, really lovely. They have bookings from 11.30. I went once at 1.30 and treated it as a lunch!

I was treated to Afternoon Tea at the Mirror Room in the Rosewood Hotel for special birthday - pricey but amazing.
