I’d choose TUI anytime. Excellent Dreamliner nice Cabin Crew comply seats. We always hire a car, so Melbourne is not an issue, but an Uber for four to say Disney Springs is around $125 or approx £96 for comparison
You could deduct $25 from that as that is a rough cost for the trip from MCO if flying into there.

I priced up MLB to Disney yesterday and it was nearly $200. You have to use an XL for 4 people.

I've booked with TUI for my September holiday, and the transfers were included in the price and it was still way cheaper than Virgin! So for me it was absolute no brainer, even if I do spend an hour (and maybe a wee bit more)on a transfer!

We love TUI! Flown log haul several times with our 3 children and can’t fault them at all! We are flying with virgin this time as they offered free car hire and a better room option for where we are staying.

You are correct, I’m used to just two of us travelling so costed for just the standard Uber. Thanks for correcting 👍

I have flown both, not much in them to be honest. I did used to love the bubble on the 747 for Virgin but that's gone now.
Virgin have better customer service. I had to take TUI to court over a flight delay that they kept lying about ( I won ) and I did say I would never use them again, but then price mostly wins out.

Using BA this year, Cheaper than both so with a look If you want to fly from London. I found MAN more convernient but its just expensive to fly from.

Have you thought about trying aer lingus, we are flying with them in May, granted this trip has been moved so many times we could have booked with someone else. however they are very competitively priced and the younger members of the party who have to pay for themselves have to be considered. My youngest has flown with them before, funnily enough one year when he was off boarded from a virgin flight. He was happy with the flight so we are trying them out.
We also have the Manchester issue as there is not a lot fly direct from there at the moment and I really don't want to be having a stop over anywhere especially on the way back.

We're flying with TUI for the first time. We always hire a car so that wasn't a massive issue driving from MLB. We actually managed to get a 7 seater minivan for less than £1000 which seems like an absolute steal at the minute!

We’re flying Tui this summer. We’ve got a fly drive and booked back in 2020 so got a good deal. I can’t compare the seats or even service on either as both now have different planes on the routes but I’m hoping that Melbourne being smaller will have shorter immigration waits and this might offset the travel time. Nobody knows yet but I guess we’ll find out once the flights start in spring.

Thanks for replies still looking, to be honest didn’t realise it was so far from Disney, but even pre booking a company to transfer us both ways would still be a massive saving for a family if 6 adults flying VA summer holidays.
