BA
Flight + Hotel then Create Custom Trip Bit of a faff inputting all the different dates, airports etc. but won't be anywhere near £21k You won't get to book until September, but the flights will have been released by then. Virgin are having a laugh recently with pricing.

For this sort of money you could buy a decent DVC contract and stay onsite for 40 years for dues cost alone or rent it out and sell it one day.
Virgin Holidays prices are ridiculous at the moment. Flights and booking it separately will be cheaper. Rent DVC points maybe also if you want to stop on site somewhere, you could halve the hotel cost.

If it helps or comparatives to do that this year, assuming both your children are classed as adults, you’re probably looking at £8200 for beach club plus disney tickets for 2 weeks plus £4000 for HrH for a week and tickets, so £12,200 total plus your flights, which, despite the crazy prices this year, will be less than £9000!

I can knock a fair bit off the HRH when looking at this August, a period of known great demand.. and with no research…
That knocks another £1400 off the price, raising the flights to £10,400 or £2600pp. Virgin are taking the Mickey (as is usual). Whilst I would take the beach club price of £8000 as gospel, since I do not involve myself with Disney, I would guesstimate a correct and realistic price to aim at as about £14,000 if you are patient.. And that is without even considering any Disney meal deals that might come along, any fall on prices as flight costs move back towards normality etc etc. Then you have the worry as to the financial worries of Virgin over the next 18 months as hundreds of thousands of credit notes are cashed. You need to be patient and start hunting come this end of September.

Fair play, though I’d included park tickets in the price too (appreciating you’d probably still be cheaper )
Disney price was based on my own rates this august plus park tickets so pretty reliable hopefully Edited at 10:21 PM. |

Last few trips I have used BA Holidays for flights and accommodation, but often book the car separately.
I have found VH very expensive last few years apart from 2020 when we snagged an absolute bargain only for lockdown to happen a couple of weeks pre-departure.

Sorry, but the rep is probably pushing you to get their commission.
There is zero chance that 2023 rooms are going fast, they're not even in public release yet - only phone bookings available currently. And as I said earlier in the thread, the 2023 offers aren't even out yet which is when the majority of Brits book. And the end of August is Orlando's low season. Even if they were selling now, every room at BC has the day bed AFAIK so it's not a limited category. Edited at 12:16 PM. |

Sorry, but my thoughts are as before. You wanted honest thoughts and those are mine.
And as for rooms going fast for Aug 23… yeah, right. Crude salesmanship. Did he have any Snake Oil to sell you whilst he was at it? Wait, be patient and don’t book anything at all until there are flights released and competitors in the market.
