Just in case you're unaware, you can decline your Delta Sky Club invite (as the club is nothing special) and get $20 of vouchers to burn in an airside food outlet. Outback Outpost or Bahama Breeze will both do a freshly cooked meal that will be better than anything you get served in Upper Class ex-USA.

when asking about Disney Springs check in on our last hol they were hoping for an Easter re opening ... but who knows.

I think its great as you don't have to worry about your bags being robbed from your car while you enjoy your last few hours. That and you avoid the check-in at Orlando.

Its been running since before 9/11 as I remember when it was brought back after that they introduced the $10 charge as there was extra security.

Never heard of anyone having issues, only minor issue I had once was chocolate in my case was melted when i got home. The vans they transport the cases in to MCO are not air conditioned so maybe pack things that could melt in hand luggage.
