Looks good! Hope you have a great time. Are you staying at the Ben Loyal in Tongue?
Take lots of midge spray as I got eaten alive. And a car full of snacks as some days I didn’t see anywhere to have lunch, some stretches are very remote

Ooh - following with interest. We keep looking at doing it but never get around to it. We live near your paisley premier inn starting point so not even as much of a trek for us. If you need anything when you are at that point give me a shout.
We are doing a wee bit of the east side (John o groats / Dornoch) at the end of June. So excited to see how you get on! Good luck x

Yeah I read your report.
Could almost smell the sick how you described it. Poor max. Yes lots of snack and drink in the car for us. I have bought that so soft oil thing that everyone recommended. Looking at the Ben loyal yes. Bloody hard trying to get rooms for families. Most just want couples. |

Day 4.
Uig to Garve This is where we are looking at staying. I don’t really have much experience with b&bs so all this is slightly strange to me but hopefully will all be good. |

Some more planning
Day 6. Tongue to Golspie Stopping on a train. Cool but not sure if I will cope if it’s awful Day 7. Golspie to Beauly Booked into the priory hotel so Scarlett gets to wake up here. She wants the Scottish breakfast. Day 8. Beauly to Dumbarton Lastly half way to home another premier inn Day 9. Dumbarton to Home This will be a long day I think especially with school the next day. Places to visit: Glenfinnan viaduct Loch Ness exhibition Eilean donan castle Dunvegan castle Calum’s seal boat Smoo cave Dunrobin castle Chanonry point Looks like I’m more or less planned. Now to save up for the trip |
