Hopefully there will be no issues with printing! Some of the publishers I deal with are having a nightmare in sourcing paper and are having to make depleted print runs, and reprints on books are taking a lot longer than normal!

We don't visit until 2023, but I'll certainly be picking up the 2022 edition!

It's a good question. In recent years we've been printing in Malta without any problems, but where this year's print run will happen is unknown right now (at least by us). The first proofs have just been sent away, and we'll get one last chance to make any changes (like Disney Genie - ugh!) next week. Fingers VERY firmly crossed for plain sailing from here...

As Bondy007 suggested, the 2021 issue was a nightmare to do, and has ended up being another white elephant (like the 2020 edition, only worse). But the publisher has agreed to stick with another edition in the hope that 2022 will see us back to something approximating normal. We are having to trim things back in places, but the theme park chapters will not be affected, mainly because there is even more to squeeze in than ever before!

We are hoping for publication at the end of October, but that is difficult to be definitive about at the moment, as there are still several variables at play (Hello 'Delta' variant; grrr!).

The good news is that here in Orlando things are definitely returning to normal and we just need to get our transatlantic travel back again. We have no crystal ball as to when that will be, but we remain hopeful that 2021 will not be a total write-off.

I did not realise we had the author of The Brits guide in our midst! Wow. I love the Brits Guides. Obviously for planning but just love going through them.

We are about a week behind at the moment, just battling to finish off the final proofs. The official publication date is Nov. 1, but it's going to be touch and go as there has been SO much to do with this edition, and Disney announcing the new Disney Genie system just when we were wrapping things up has been a headache we could have done without! But, we WILL get there ('cos Amazon says so...! amazon/Guide-Orlan...srpt=ABIS_BOOK).
