I think we will have to wait for more info and see how it goes when it starts.

The wording of the information pasted in post #2 says if using the Advanced booking system you will not be able to make selections on the day of your visit.

It then goes onto the section about same day self selection 🤔

Maybe it will be a choice of system rather than both options. And who knows if any of it will be chargeable in line with the new fast pass system?

I think they are encouraging people to register in advance by saying 'if you don't you'll be stuck with on the day availability'

If you register in advance I think you'll get both.

It reads to me that you get both.

If we do get both options isn’t this better than before?

Never used DAS before but will need to next visit so trying to get up to date with it all.

I’m hoping this will all become clearer as it starts. Do we have a date for this all happening?

I know people say you don’t need to prove a disability so I wonder what the interview will be for or like? I really don’t mind providing proof at all so I will have it ready if asked.

One last question, if I have two children needing DAS how does this work? Will they both get 2 rides each day?

I wonder if DAS guests will have to pay $15 a day or if it will be a complimentary service? Perhaps that’s why Disney has emphasised the penalties for those who claim a DAS to cheat the system?

I am not sure that you will need to. Mainly due to the fact that DAS holders have to wait the same amount of time as the standby queue (Just they don't have to actually stand in line) - and people do not need to pay for the standby queue.

I guess there could be a charge for booking the 2 in advance.

If this works as they are saying, then the actual logistics might be doable.

My only concern is they book one Das at say 9-10 then the second at 3-4 which stops you doing anything else until then. Thats said no one but DAS are able to book rides 30 days out? There is no reason to not give you the requested times?

If my DS can ride his rides unaffected by the genie, Then the rides he cant do FOP Tron, GOTG, I will pony up for and ride so he does not have to wait on a bench with his mum while i stand in line.

Fair comprise

I’m wondering if DAS holders will be given a certain number of slots to use per ride on the system. I can’t see them allowing us to use endless reservations for SDMT or FOP for example, but will maybe set aside a certain number, then once they’re gone you can either choose a different ride or try for that ride on another day or take a chance with either a DAS day of booking or a Genie+ reservation.

I can see the CMs loving us Brits who plan to come for 14+ days. That’s a lot of bookings per video call. I wonder if eventually they’ll make it so you can pre-register with a CM but then book the rides yourself, a bit like a DAS FP?

I just said the same to my husband. It'll be a long call otherwise.
