3 months post hysterectomy

Hi all, just some advice really. I am 24 weeks post laprascopic hysterectomy. Recovering pretty well but still getting slight pain and tightness/pulling in lower stomach, where you get period pain. I had a scan about 8 weeks after due to pain which they think is constipation, everything was as it should be. Consultant did tell me about the stitches used could last between 250 and 300 days and described them as like a zip and fishing wire. I am back to normal with school runs shopping etc. Too scared to do exercise but have been walking a little especially over half term. Trying to rest now due to pain etc. Don't know what to do, don't want to waste doctor's time if it's just taking a long time to heal internally. Anyone any ideas ? Thank you

I am almost 1 year (in 2 weeks!) post open hyserectomy and I still can't lie on my stomach due to the tenderness! Sometimes I have the odd ache and pain down there but all good now.

I was back swimming at 6 weeks (albeit really slowly) and gradually built it up! Everyone is different and don't forget it is major surgery after all and is a total shock to our system!

One day at a time!
