First attempt at cake Popsicles

Did an afternoon tea yesterday so had some cake & buttercream left. Thought I'd have a go with a Popsicle mould i got last Christmas. They are a bit of a faff and I haven't quite mastered the stick end 🤣 Made them for my son who is back from uni tomorrow. Anyone else make these? I think my other geometric heart mould might be easier as no stick 🤣

They look amazing. Rather impressive as a first attempt. You must be quite a skilled baker as mine would never look anything like that no matter what number attempt 😂

I got moulds a while ago for cake pops (so a small ball shape). I haven’t tried it out yet, but then I am not a good baker so no doubt will be one of my usual disasters.

Worth a go. I am still not sure I am sold on the whole Popsicle pop concept. My brain is telling me these are lollies but eating it is cake 🤣 I know my son will eat it as its red velvet inside 😂

I love cake popsicles when I go to the US, usually get them in Starbucks. They don’t seem to do them here, hence buying the mould, but just not brave enough to try it yet. I might try with a pre made cake mix to reduce some of the potential for disaster.
