Hen weekend advice

I know it’s mine so I shouldn’t really know the details but I’m a control freak 🤣

We’re struggling to settle on a date and the only date we can all do is April 23rd which is 3 weeks before the wedding and now I’m panicking it’s too close to the wedding for money for my hens,

I have insisted I pay for myself,

Am I panicking over nothing? X

Girls aren't going to do anything stupid like shave your eyebrows so I'd say a night out, 3 weeks away sounds fine. Just don't do roller booting or ice skating or anything like that 😜😜

Yes, you’re worrying about nothing.

If people can’t afford it they will either say so, or they will dip in and out of the plans depending on their situation, E.g. they might come for dinner and drinks but not the spa day (no idea what you’re doing but you get the idea).

It won’t be any great surprise that you’re having a hen weekend, so I imagine your closest friends and family, at least, will have planned their finances accordingly, to the point where the date isn’t a big deal, barring any unexpected disasters.

Ah thanks ladies!

I just don’t want an expensive do for everyone,

Thinking slug and lettuce to start with 2 for 1 cocktails, on to ghetto golf which includes a cocktail and then ending on a bottomless brunch somewhere

Which I guess can all be prepaid onto a monzo card or something so little to spend on the night itself x

My daughter gets married in September. She is having 2 hen do’s . One for the mums and sisters. We are having a spa day with cocktails and afternoon tea. She is then having a weekend away at a lodge .

It sounds like you have a few different activities that people can dip in and out of depending on budgets. You may also find that you need to pay for the golf and at least part of the brunch upfront which would be easier for budgeting for everyone as less to pay on the day and closer to the wedding
