Refusal to have 3rd jab
We are due to travel mid-March but my wife is refusing to have her 3rd jab. Do you think this will have an impact on our opportunity to travel?

The CDC currently accept that two doses of an approved vaccine (eg Pfizer, AZ etc,) are deemed fully vaccinated.
But who knows what their requirements will be in 6 weeks time cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019...travelers.html Mick

It was alluded to in the recent U.K. travel announcement that to be considered fully vaccinated for travel you will soon need to have the booster. Similar to other European countries policies.
I’m not sure why someone would happily take two but the draw the line at a third. Lots of vaccines require 3 doses. |

if the CDC changes it 2 days before you fly, you would be snookered.
Im not sure of the circumstances that is causing her to refuse it, but remember, every action will have consequences. Do you really want the consequence being you cant go? |

My son is coming over in early February. He was initially saying he wouldn’t have his 3rd vaccine but made the decision at the last minute-just before 3 weeks prior to his travel date, just in case a new rule was introduced before he travelled.

Just to add to my earlier reply to show how dynamic and short term legislation changes can be .
We were there for 19 days in Nov/Dec and while we were there the testing rules changed THREE times by both governments for the flights to USA and back to UK. Mick
