I see they have a branch of La Croissanterie. Might nip there and get a baguette for the train on the way home. We ate there in Paris and they are surprisingly good.

Go in the car reallly easy & quick to get there.

We stock up with wine & don't bother stopping in Calais. Good selection & prices. Last time we used our credit card there they asked for additional ID.

We always have a meal at the Chinese Restaurant when we go.

We did this on our trip last September, it is very easy and the trains are rather regular. Don't go on a Sunday, the main shopping centre is open but the town itself will be deserted.

If you are driving, go straight across at the roundabout where Newport Bay is on the Corner, then take the 1st left at the side of the Police Station. At the end (T Junction) go straight across, its a staggered junction, but there is ample free on street parking, or a large carpark on the right hand side. This brings you out near to the food mall. Alternatively, if you go to the bus station, pop on bus no. 57 (purple Pep bus) that goes to Adagio Apartments and Hotel Elyesse, this bus is FOC and runs approx every 20-30 minutes, if you get off at Hotel Elyesse the shopping centre is just across the road and brings you in near Disney Store and Hypermarket. If you get off at Adagio, it brings you in near to the Food Mall.
