Does Disney sleep?!
Hello! Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what hapens to the parks at night?! A daft question I know, but do Disney turn off all th music etc whilst I'm asuming the parks are being, cleaned, restocked, maintenence etc. It must be a place that never sleeps! What do you reckon?

According to a few books I have read the "BGM" as cast memebers refer to it is turned off at night. There are staff on site through the night, as the streets are steam cleaned nightly and other maintentance is carried out

When I was staying at the Disneyland Hotel (The pink one that overlooks Main St) in DLP we often watched all the comings and goings after the park had closed. Parts of the park were often floodlit and cleaners, gardeners etc. were all hard at work making the park spick and span. Also delivery vans would bring in new supplies. Fascinating to watch these park 'fairies' making the place so magical for us guests!

we just came of the disney magic last week and that also doesnt sleep, they are continually cleaning, painting and doing running repairs the whole time. They even keep a crew on board when they are on dry dock as the workers stay so the people continue as if they were guests.

I watched a programme in December, whilst in Florida, and it showed all the behind the scenes activities in getting the parks organised for Christmas. Everything was precision planned as all the trees had to be brought in by truck and assembled before the parks opened in the morning. There could be no delays and the everything had to be in the right place. It was unbelieveable the amount of work that goes on at night, especially at that time of year when they have all the Christmas lights to erect as well.

Same in the hotels. Whilst you sleep many are at work with the Disney magic and pixie dust!

If youve ever seen any of the footage of the abandoned River Country, the music is still playing there. Kinda creepy!
So I would assume in the rest of the parks the music would be on all night too.
