Surely theres too many to choose?

Mexico boat ride is definitely one, cheesy but great also knowing that it's still daytime outside and plenty more fun to be had!

And of course walking down main street and seeing the castle! Something every kid dreams about!

ooo this is tough - i have many! But i think both my top ones are at Magic Kingdom - arriving at the gates of Magic Kingdom on our first day and watching the Welcome Show - the anticipation is amazing and when you see people and Disney characters dancing with tremendous amounts of energy at 8 in the morning, you know you are at Disney World

The other is when waiting for SpectroMagic (the effect is not quite the same with the Main Street Electrical Parade) It was when the music suddenly started real loud, and all the lights in Magic Kingdom suddenly went out. The excitement was almost unbearable Not quite the same with MSEP though

Cool thread by the way!

Has to be for me , MK near the ice cream parlour , down the steps to a seating area with yellow chairs . It's a smoking area , so I can have a ice -cream then a smoke and watch the ducks on water , the castle in view , sun in the sky - perfect . DW calls this my happy place.

On the roof of the Contemporary Resort watching the fireworks at MK after an amazing meal at California Grill

But in the parks its the same as a lot of people. Walking through the tunnel under the train station into MK with the sounds and smells and of course the view of the castle as you cross the square

I have to agree wholeheartedly :-)

The opening show at MK. The first view of the castle. The hushed moment in semi-darkness at the beginning of Spectro, followed by the jewel like lights in the darkness and the gentle music . The first hour in fantasy land especially the heffalumps and woozles song in Winnie The Pooh. The 'blue fairy ' moment during Wishes.

I wonder how many of us rely on our WDW visits to provide a release from the stress of our every day lives . I know I do and when I find myself questioning the tens of thousands of pounds I have spent over the years, I tend to think, well, it was healthier than fags, booze or a nervous breakdown :-)

That was our room too - on our first BC trip. It's perfection, I bet there's not a better room onsite (IMO )
Just checked -- it was 1645!, but just the same.

And the moment when the music stops and the flames are "blown" out just before the action starts - that moment is my happy place.

So where is yours?
Roo is gonna hate me for this, but one of my happy places is sitting on it's a small world singing along

My other happy place is sitting in the nice air con at mickeys philharmagic, reaching out like a big five year old trying to catch ariels jewels as she "throws" them at you.

Good times!
