River Country was by far my favourite park. I was gutted when it closed. It had such a rustic romantic charm to it, and as city kids it gave us a (albeit contrived) glimpse into what we imagined growing up in the countryside to be like!

Plus the characters went down the slides with you!

I looked up those pics of it all abandoned a while ago. Wished I hadn't.
