Mobile Using an elbow crutch at Disney and Universal.

Hi, I did post this in the special needs forum but I didn’t get a response so trying again. I’m looking for some advice please? I injured my knee last year and as a result I still walk with an elbow crutch. As a Disney regular I know that the standard solution is a wheelchair or scooter but I’d prefer to walk if I can. My questions are about whether they will allow me to use a ‘stick seat’ rather than a crutch so I can sit on it in queues (as my standing time is limited) and also can I pass it to a CM before getting on rides and collect it after? Any advice or experience would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you seen those scooter things. It's like a child's scooter with an elevated seat where you rest your leg. Iv seen loads in the parks and seen people using these as seating in the queues.

I use crutches and would second mattyped, I use a knee scooter to get around and sit on in the parks but you need to be able to bend your knee.

You can get the sticks that convert to seats but the queues can be quite narrow

I walk with an elbow crutch, no problems at all in Disney, a cast member will take the crutch as you get onto the ride and pass it back to you as you get off, always asked if I needed help, and, if it’s a moving ride, will ask if it needs to be slowed down or stopped for you to get on.
