Floridays v Vista Cay

We usually stay at Vista Cay but BA have good prices at Floridays so considering staying there.

It’s a bit further from Universal (not doing Disney next year) but looks good. I’d welcome thoughts on how they compare

Sorry can’t compare as never been to vista cay but be careful if you book floridays we didn’t have a good experience. We were in a room right next to the highway and it was so noisy I couldn’t sleep. They wouldn’t move us as the were full ( in January ) but then said they could at a charge! Rooms weren’t anything special either. Felt it wasn’t very clean.

Haven't stayed at Vista Cay but had one night in Floridays last year before moving to SSR. We have previously stayed in Sheraton Vistana Resort and Sheraton Vistana Villages and expected Floridays to be similar to these. We were slightly disappointed as it wasn't as nice. It felt more basic. Our balcony was also a harled wall which was about 4 feet high. We were glad we were only there one night. We booked it because we wanted to try it for future off site trips as it is very highly rated in trip advisor. Needless to say we are staying offsite this year and are returning to the Sheraton Vistana Resort.

Never stayed at floridays but we did look at it, having stayed at Vista Cay in 2015, we really liked it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed at both multiple times and would happily stay at either again. Vista cay probably more luxurious
