Any downsides to booking MNSSHP tickets now?

I am trying to resist planning my daily schedule for our upcoming 7 day onsite visit (as I end up getting overexcited and it's too far away), and I'm also trying to plan a wedding so haven't really had the time.

I definitely want to do the Halloween party and from first glance I'm thinking about doing the one on the 27th to avoid having to go on Halloween night as I assume it will be packed.

Can anyone think of any downsides to doing so now, when I haven't planned my days yet?

We're currently only planning on doing Disney as we're going to be going away from Orlando before and after the honeymoon so I don't think we'll have time to fit Universal in as well, so it will be 7 full days of Disney.

I just want to make sure I'm not forgetting something obvious and end up booking when it was a bad idea! (and I'm also worried if I leave it for another few months that it will sell out)

downside... you have to go on that day!

we usually book ours about a week before the event when we have more of an idea of our plans.

if you're that organised, sure, go for it, but i bet that date won't sell out until around a week beforehand, if that (if it was the saturday before halloween, i suspect it would sell quicker, same for halloween itself)

hth

I wasn't sure whether they sell out the closer to Halloween they are.

As much as I would like to wait that far, I will be most likely far too involved with wedding planning in the few months before to even remember I need to book it.

I'll maybe give it another few months in that case when I have at least been able to book any ADRs we would want
