Mobile HEA start time

On the September park hours MK closes at 9pm on non MNSSHP nights, and it also says Happily Ever After starts at 9. I would have expected it to start before then as that’s when the park is marked as closing. Am I missing something?

No, this is pretty typical. It's a combination of late sunset and early closing, they can't really run the show earlier at that time of year but the crowds aren't high enough to have it closing later. Until the hours were extended a couple of weeks ago, HEA was at closing (8pm) every night on my dates.

Park closing really just means that the attraction entrances close. The shops remain open for about an hour afterwards and you won't get rushed out.

ETA: HEA time won't change if the park hours do get extended closer to the time. But it's nothing to worry about if they don't, you'll have no problem enjoying the show.

Keep an eye on the park hours changing, you can sign up for changes on the park hours section, just put your dates in and you will be email any date changes!

Also, if you look at the park hours for September 2018 you will see that the park was open to 11pm/12pm several nights in non party nights https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/par...?hours=09+2018

Hope that helps!

I had already planned each day based on Sept 18 hours - I did notice a couple of days at MK which were shorter than I had predicted when the actual hours were released!

They always start with the minimum operating hours when they set the schedule now, then extend them if expected crowds warrant keeping everything open later. Mine only changed about a month beforehand.

I was kind of hoping they'd stay short, less crowds for me.
