Checking in getting passes etc

Hello

We fly Sunday 11th and arrive 5pm-ish!
We check into POR for this one night only.

We hope to leave luggage with POR so they can move it to AKL on Monday 12th.

Mon 12th we start our stay at AKL for 5 nights - here we have passess DDP FP+ etc all on Magic Bands. BUT we want to be in AK for EMH that day (8am!)

How can I collect our bands before entry to the park - will I/all of us have to go to AKL before 8am or is there another way?

You will get your magic bands at POR. This will have your AKL and passes all loaded on! It�s amazing really!

Just make sure everything is on your MDE. Enjoy!

Even though all we have booked is the hotel for the night - separate booking - no passes/tickets etc?

Magic bands are a link to your MDE so provided everything is on MDE then you can use any magic band to access this information.

The bands from POR will work for your park tickets just fine. As above, bands are linked to your MDE profile, which then links on to your bookings. If you have DDP attached to the AKL booking, that may not work until you've checked into AKL but you could potentially get around that by doing online check in for AKL. Sure I've read reports that this way has worked in the past.

And no problem for bell services at POR to transfer your luggage to AKL. Just let them know when they collect your bags in the morning.

You may get a second magic band at AKL if it is under 2 bookings. I have done this in the past and that way everyone got 2 colours with all the tickets and room keys etc loaded on so you could mix and match according to your outfit.
