What’s the in park WiFi like now?

Last time we went in oct 2017 it was pretty rubbish, it worked but dropped out consistently etc is it much more reliable now?

We were there at the beginning of the month and it was still very patchy; dropped out a lot and sometimes just decided it didn't like any of our phones and wouldn't let anyone connect at all! We spent a lot more on roaming and data than we'd have liked to.

What a shame it’s really frustrating. I was hoping with mobile ordering being rolled out it might have improved.

please excuse my ignorance but why is WIFI so important to have in the parks?
I appreciate there may be some medical reasons to have it? but last time we were there it was such a shame to see so many people walking around oblivious to what was going on around them as they were stuck to a screen all day.
the amount of times we were bumped into simply because people were not looking where they were walking because they were looking at their phones/ipads all the time.

Am I missing something? what do you use the wifi for?

Plus everyone needs to update Facebook, Twitter... to show the world what a great time they are having inputting stuff into their phone 24/7!
You can now unlock your room door using the app!

We've just returned from 3 weeks and my biggest gripe has been the app...what a pile of rubbish. Soooooo frustrating

I’ve genuinely never had much of a problem with Disney WiFi.

There’s some dead areas, but that’s just the same for anywhere in the world.

But for the most part I find it’s fine.
