only use the No 1 lounge at Gatwick if it is free (with Norwegian, over priced if not), but best lounge we have used is in LAX, the one world lounge

we always use the no1 lounge at edinburgh
usually about £20 a head so factor in something to eat in an airport & a few drinks then £20 is well worth it, added bonus of a seat/table away from the crowds and you can pilfer a few magazines, again all in for @£20 cant see how its cheaper to eat/drink elsewhere mind? you also get free FT security which saves a bit of time depending on how busy it is anyway |

I've booked Vroom Manchester for Xmas 2019, probably largely a waste of money at £100 for 4 but thought I'd give it a try. We'd probably spend £40 on stuff anyway so it's a waste of £60 if we don't like it.
You don't get alcohol but I've absolutely no interest in drinking until late afternoon anyway. I'm astonished at the people necking pints at 7am. I'd feel awful the rest of the day, they have a stronger constitution than me. Edited at 09:58 AM. |

We always use the No.1 lounge when we travel, wouldn't fly without it far more relaxing way to start a holiday.

should have been clearer this was lunch/evening meal rather than breakfast
fish finger sarnie & the pasta / pots buffet selection. afternoon tea ... Peroni on draft (tennants not being a scot i find it rank..) & decent selection of bottles & spirits... spoons is a decent option but more than 2 drinks and you will spill over the 20 quid imo |
