Disney European cruises 2020

I was a little disappointed when the summer 2019 schedule was released as all the disney med cruises were early and the only available cruises for during the school summer holidays were the Baltic ones, when are the itineries past may likely to be released and is there likely to be a change in schedule as would love to do a longer summer cruise but really would prefer med not Baltic but am tied to school holidays

We booked for summer 2019 on release in March so I guess you are looking at March next year for summer 2020. We did a weeks med cruise in school holidays 2 years ago so they must changes the schedule, hopefully there is something that appeals for you!

Last year the Med ones were Aug/early Sep as we went on the early Sep one. To be honest I would not have wanted the Med in Aug, far too hot to enjoy.

As it turned out we had wind and rain mostly!

I can't see DCL changing the scheduling they have now I'm afraid. I heard that they had many concerns for excursions in the height of the summer.

When we did a Rome tour on an August cruise a few years ago, it was over 100 degrees outside and pretty nasty inside the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. It was unbearable.

I believe that was one factor.

We did a med cruise with DCL in 2016, and yes it was really hot! But we loved it. I wish they would switch the schedule back - I have no interest in the Northern Europe cruises they offer now in the summer hols.

I like heat too - just lazing around in it though, not walking through ancient buildings with no air con!

I'm not sure when the US holidays are for the summer, but that could have had some sway too - who knows?!

Yes we are the same. No interest in The Med in June, but would have taken another DCL cruise had it been in July/August. Not interested in Northern Europe so we are out for next year. Such a shame.

They seem to charge more for the Baltic�s, knowing Disney that will have something to do with it. They�ve got all the new attractions and ships to pay for
